Isolation and properties of insectospecific neurotoxins from venom of the Latrodectus mactans tredecimguttatus spider

Abstract: A method has been developed for isolating five insectospecific neurotoxins and α-latrotoxin from venom of the Latrodectus mactans tredecimguttatus spider by means of ion exchange chromatography on Mono Q and Mono S columns and chromatography on hydroxylapatite column. LD 50 of all the toxins is determined.
