Mass spectrometry method ERIAD in the structural study of anthracycline antibiotics

Abstract: Fragmentation of antibiotics daunorubicin, carminomycin, doxorubicin and their semisynthetic analogues under conditions of the new mass spectrometry method ERIAD is discussed. Signals of protonated molecular ion (M+H)+ and ions of fragments are present in all the mass spectra. The results are compared with literary data obtained by means of other (EI and FAB MS) mass spectrometry methods.
